Review on 🔧 Enhanced Performance and Precision with Evolution Power Tools EVOMAG42 Diameter by Charles Butler

I have to say that this is my second evolutionary tool and I am very happy with it. No stars for 2 reasons. First came the storage box with broken hinges. I asked Amazon to send me another one and it was the same so I gave up trying to find that solution. Also, all the stickers and labels come off even before I plug it in for the first time. The tool itself works as needed, and if you plan on drilling less than 3/8ths, like I did, you'll have to clamp it from the front. . I would assume it would be the same with any magnetic drill as they require a 1/2" bit to really get to 2800lbf. I used a chisel up to 2.5" drilling through 1/8" pipe and it worked great. I used drilling oil of course and took my time, but he drilled it through with no problem. I wouldn't do more as it's already very close to not having a large chip clearing gap. The other downside is that the stroke is only about 2 inches, depending on what you're doing you can drill 2 inches and move the whole assembly down so you can use it to get more depth. Check out a few YouTube videos and you can see most of what it's capable of, and for the money it's a very solid drill.
