Review on 🔶 3M Scotch-Brite Griddle Cleaning System - Quick Clean, Heavy Duty, 3-5 Minute Cleaning, Orange by Jasmine Smith

I was really looking forward to receiving and using this product. I followed the directions for writing on my Blackstone 4 burner stainless steel skillet and preheated the grill to its lowest setting, 300-350 degrees, as instructed. I opened the bag, let it trickle into the pan and spread it out like a mat. To say he smoked was an understatement and he stank. Anyway, I used a Scotch-Brite cleaning sponge and when it bubbled it seemed clean, but then I realized that part of the odor was caused by the sponge melting in the cleaning solution. I quickly grabbed the included scraper to begin removing the cleaning solution and started from the back of the pan and pulled it towards me but it smoked and smelled awful and it wouldn't pull on it as shown in the video. looked at Raven. I continued but the third time I noticed the squeegee was melting too and now BLACK RUBBER is melting on my fairly new pan. WOW! I couldn't believe it and my wife and I even commented before I did anything that the heck something like a shower mop could handle hot oil and hot cleaning solution from a hot grill. Unfortunately we found out. I spent hours scraping, used tons of wet towels and each one turned BLACK, covered in sticky gum ointment on the towels. On the first attempt at cleaning I didn't see any melted rubber (I didn't realize it was rubber at first), clogged the channel leading to the drip pan and the melted rubber started running down the front of the stainless steel and completely covered the 4th pan burner knob. While writing this review I saw that someone had the exact same problem as me. The reviewer also seemed to follow the lead. Reading rave reviews of people using mops to remove hot grease from a hot grill, and even in other situations, I figured their grill should be at least as hot as mine, or even hotter. So I'm wondering if another reviewer and I received defective/poor quality components that caused this crash. Now I'm worried about what to do. I feel like this product ruined my pan. I would be grateful if someone from the company would get in touch with me.
