Review on 🧲 ELECTROLUX 242227702 Bypass Part Number by Michael Boyce

I bought this item to avoid the expensive Frigidaire filters that now keep slipping out of my fridge because they changed design. Filters used to be heavier and made of clear plastic, with activated carbon visible inside. Now they are white plastic and not as heavy as they used to be. You can't look inside either - so I'm guessing they don't use the same filter material either. After I bought 4 OEM filters and the filters showed up, I decided to buy this plug to avoid the whole filter situation and solve the problem. Unfortunately, this stub is worse than filters. After we poured it in the fridge it almost flew across the room leaving water in the fridge the first time we used the water dispenser on the door. So now I got my old filter back and taped it to keep it from popping out. Another quality item from Electrolux/Frigidaire! Of course I will not buy any more of your household appliances in the future. You took a famous name and ruined it.
