No more cheap brushes for me!

I'm not a house painter by trade but I've painted almost all of the walls and ceiling in our house since we bought it about 5 years ago - some of them 3 or 4 times after questionable color choices (saw at the paint shop look good! Don't judge too harshly!). I'm TERRIBLE with brushes - with a particular tendency to put the brush aside to use a roller for a while and completely forget about the brush until it dries to a wad of colored latex and bristles - so I always buy the cheapest what I find. I'll probably only use them once or twice before I destroy them through my carelessness. I watched a few tutorials on YouTube. One of them specifically mentioned this brush and the ease with which he used it looked mesmerizing so I finally decided to invest in a quality brush. Doesn't matter! This brush offers a lot more control and holds a lot of color. Having promised to do my best to keep it for a while, I've also found it to be MUCH easier to clean than cheap brushes. Even closer to the handle, where the paint seems to pool deep in the bristles and dry, everything looks pretty clean with soap and warm water. I recommend following the instructions to tuck it back into the sleeve and hang it upright to dry. I made the mistake of putting it in the sun to dry faster and noticed that as it dried many of the bristles curved towards the pavement and stayed in that position, which seemed to distort the shape of the brush. But after one more wash, it seemed to snap back into shape, and I immediately tucked it back up my sleeve to keep it that way.
