Wrong size - fits very wide feet
I've been wearing EU size 44 shoes, including cycling shoes, for 50 years, and yet lately the sizes are wrong and inaccurate. These Pearl Izumi in size 44 are the closest thing to a size 43 at best. Even without socks, my feet don't fit in these shoes. I couldn't lower the straps low enough to have secure cycling shoes on my foot. Luckily, the Fizik and Giro shoes in size EU 44 are very comfortable and true to size.
