Review on 🚗 Mishimoto MMRAD-MIA-90X Performance Aluminum X-Line Radiator for Mazda MX-5 Miata 1990-1997 by Brandon Gaines

I've read conflicting opinions on the forums about the temperature difference between two and three rows, but I still went with the three row option. I installed it with a Mishimoto fan shroud and it fits perfectly with no modifications and seems to take up as much space as an OEM heatsink and OEM shroud (the 2-row option is thinner than the OEM version). BTW, I've found many people have had success with unnamed aluminum heatsinks on Ebay for a lower price, but you're paying for a reliable name and a Mishimoto guarantee.
