This dish holder from DASH has a stainless steel exterior and a green interior. With a height of about 8 inches and a width of 6 inches, it offers good storage space. I double checked the material of the exterior, although it looks like metal it is actually plastic. So all plastic. There are rubber pads on the underside of the base. They work well to keep the holder from sliding on my granite countertop. You can disassemble the holder into 3 parts for easy cleaning (see my 2nd photo). The smartphone slot is my favorite feature of this holder. Now my phone has a safe place to keep it when I need to check a recipe while cooking. As for volume boost, the difference isn't very obvious, just a little based on my personal experience. In general I am satisfied with this holder. It accommodates all of my everyday essentials and looks great in my kitchen.
