Easy installation even for a caretaker.

My truck came to me with a 3" leveling kit in the front but no rear so a small rear lift was required to level it. I installed this set of rear blocks in a few hours and for the first half I just figured out how to block and position my bushings and bushings (which were too short for the job - *not* recommended). I made it VERY easy by making one side. The only tools used were an impact wrench and sockets. My steps were: 1. Raise a tire a few inches off the ground 2. Place a jack under the leaf spring in front of the axle, resting the weight on the post 3. Remove the tire to allow the axle to drop enough clear the block 4. remove the old u-bolts and nuts 5. lower the axle until the block is between the axle and the spring 6. lift the axle into place and reinstall the tire there this always pulls me truck onto stand with no wheel to catch it if it slips. 7. Install new bolts and nuts, tighten well. Some recommend steps to loosen shock absorbers and brake line brackets, which will certainly shorten the process. I'm sure there's a good reason why people do this, so don't take any of it for granted. When I pushed the axle back in, the pin on the block didn't go straight into the holes in the springs, but I was able to get them up just by turning the tire a little (parking brake was on).
