UPDATE: I asked Vega Sport why the listing says 'Same product, new look' and was told they still have the original formula in Establish Canada! An interesting twist when their rep told me on the phone 2 years ago that they are abandoning the original entirely. Maybe the US will return the original soon (fingers crossed). I have to give it 1 star but I'll throw a bone at it. The new version tastes like sweetened tea. If I wanted tea I could choose almost any other brand. Vega was one step ahead of the pack and has now joined the herd looking for a quick buck rather than being loyal to their customers. Vega's new energy drink lacks essential natural ingredients and it was the ONLY thing that got my engine cranking in the morning like a CFS person who can't drink straight coffee (it hurls sugar into your liver hence the crash). The old version is literally irreplaceable; has excellent reviews; and it's the only one of its kind with all-natural caffeine derived from green tea, along with other energizing ingredients like mate, rhodiola, devil's claw, ginseng, and ginger. I stopped buying ALL Vega products because of this huge bureaucracy. I certainly won't pay more than fifty dollars to get what used to cost $29 at any online store. 2 years ago their rep told me they don't make the old version anymore - then why is Vega (allegedly) selling it on Revain; Is it actually the old, trusty orange label? To be honest, nothing else from Vega Sport interests me. Another manufacturer who sold an important product that I used to spend thousands a year on hasn't gotten a dime from me since they changed the formula. Vega Sport wants new customers and can't be bothered to simply launch a marketing campaign to ensure the sale of a proven formula. So take Vega. I tell everyone to avoid you like the plague because you are unreliable. You made a name for yourself on the backs of people who respected your original purpose, and now you leave us on the sidelines. Much luck.
