Nice Heat Protection
Don't worry about heat when I use this. It protected my kitchen table just like it should - NO heat transfer to my table. The 12"x12" size is big enough to have room to work, but small enough that you can use multiple boards if you want to work on multiple projects. I haven't noticed any odor when high temperatures hit this surface. I also like the 1/2" lift - your projects are arranged slightly above the table which makes the job all the easier. I'm going to order a few more of these so I can have an old table that I wanted
