This is a fantastic little monitor. You may scoff at the 10-inch size, but it's become my go-to tool on my electronics workbench. It's small size means you can put it anywhere and it has almost every input I've ever seen on a monitor except S-Video. I connected it to HDMI as an additional monitor to see the real-time image from the microscope. The screen is insanely sharp, 1024 x 768 on a 10-inch diagonal looks fantastic. I also connected it to the composite inputs (via RCA). It has audio passthrough, although there are no built-in speakers. I use it to test old video game systems at my workplace. I still have VGA and BNC ports open (for surveillance cameras)! Aside from what I use it for, it would make a great companion for a Raspberry Pi or handheld gaming console. There's a VESA mount on the back, as well as a lightweight but more than adequately adjustable stand. The monitor runs on 12V DC, so you can unplug it from your car plug. The controls are very simple and I didn't have to set anything, just type what I need. The default settings are perfect. The black is shockingly dark and retro video games look fantastic on it, with excellent response times. The build quality is very good and I couldn't find any dead pixels.
