Review on Bissell 21012 Blue Cordless Sweeper: A Perfect Solution for Quick and Efficient Cleaning by James Murphy

Boy I need it!

We have 2 parrots. If you have birds in your family too, you know how bad it can be with all that mess - shavings from wooden blocks, crumbs of dried food, seashells, torn paper - the list is endless. (At least they're having fun.) But I have to say I haven't sucked very hard every day because I've got a life and I guess I'm not as picky about a spotless home as some people are. Many times I've just grabbed a broom and tried sweeping the mess that way - and it worked on the tiles. But not so well on our Berber carpet. So I decided to get myself a carpet brush and see if it helps with the daily clutter around the house. The Bissell Sweep-Up cordless sweeper did it. I only have to sweep dry stuff, not deep clean - although I can see it picking up some surface dirt along with the visible mess. It is very nice to hear how hard projectiles are swept in 2 shells under the brush. And it's pretty easy to empty too - but you really need 2 hands. The good thing is that I don't have to empty it often, maybe 1-2 times a week. My house looks a lot better and I feel safer walking barefoot on the bird lot which is full of wood shavings. I like it and highly recommend it for this purpose.
