So I thought it was handy that this gate came with enough hardware to install it in two places. When I saw that there were paper stencils in the box and then the same stencils were printed on the outside of the box, I thought it might make sense to use the box stencils to hang up the first time so I didn't have a box. about next time I want to put it in a second place. So I drilled all 8 holes and went to hang the gate except the box templates are about 2 inches longer than the paper templates. I ended up having to take everything off the walls and use paper stencils and now I also have about 6 holes in my walls that need to be filled in and repainted due to inaccurate cardboard stencils. Very frustrating!
