I'm sure it works great if it's suitable for anything.
The heatsink is too big for this drive to fit in a laptop. The heatsink washer was about 1/2 inch thick. As far as I know the cooler cannot be removed. I didn't want to try it for fear of damaging the disc. If you use this for desktop I'm sure it will work great.
