If you're looking for a way to mark fabrics, this will do, but its usefulness is limited. Pen ink does not appear on the ribbon unless you scan the text 2-3 times. As long as you round the corners as you cut (per the instructions), the tape will eventually stick to the fabric. I found that my "dry" iron setting was too cold to adequately melt this band. So I drained all the water from the iron and turned the heat to "Pop". With patience, the ribbon will melt into the cotton fabric. It's definitely better than writing directly on the fabric with a marker, but no more.
