Review on πŸš— Lisle 65750 Windshield Tool: The Ultimate Solution for Effortless Windshield Maintenance by Kenneth Foster

Works IF USED CORRECTLY

I have read several reviews that the tool "bends" with use and that it doesn't work. This surprised me because the pressure required to operate this tool is very low when used correctly. I showed the tool to a friend who almost bent the tool AND the wiper arm because he didn't understand how it worked. Of course, the instructions are almost useless (a beginner would benefit from an online video from the manufacturer). The wiper arm is held in place by spring pressure, which also presses the rubber blade against the glass. Once that tension is released, the arm slides off the pivot (if it's corroded it may require a LITTLE wiggle). DO NOT USE ANY TOOL TO REMOVE THE WIPER ARM! Simply place a portion of the tool under the portion of the arm on the pivot shaft opposite the side of the wiper blade and GENTLY pull the wiper arm up towards the tool handle (this is done with one hand) and the spring tension on the pivot post will loosen and the Arm slips off support post. Done right, it's easy. The tool is more than strong enough to work without bending down.
