The print quality is higher than the base. There are no complaints about the quality. This is a genuine Canon product. I've tried other cheap brands hoping to get the same quality for less money, but I've found it really isn't worth straying from an unnamed brand. Inkjet printers use a lot of ink, so unfortunately if you're printing in color you're going to have to spend a lot on ink, so I try to print in black and white as much as possible. The price is the same as everyone else at Revain but cheaper than regular stores and more convenient. The life of this cartridge is not very good. Ends fast. Nothing special, but it serves its purpose. One piece of advice: don't cycle the printer on and off because every time you do this it's processing inkjet and somehow wasting more ink. It is best to leave the printer on all day. I would recommend buying cartridges as a set for the best price. I only needed it as a last resort and for some reason my kids print more blue stuff than anything else. damn kids lol!
