***Update: I have now used the left over clips from my windows for the shower curtain and foil! My hooks were too small and looked like they needed oiling lol, but they are big enough that the curtain now slides easily over my (very dirty) shower rod! Bonus points! (last photo) Such a great price for 40 clips! Matte black, I had no cracks when I applied them to the curtains. The only downside I have is that the clasps take a lot of force to open, which in hindsight can be a good thing as they fit snugly into the fabric. I used standard curtain rods and they were three times the diameter and had no problems. Installation around the post. I had 3 windows that I used them on. 2 windows were 36" wide and the larger window was 72". 36 inch window uses 5 clips per panel = 10 total. 72" window uses 9 clips per panel = 18 total. !I recommend 100%
