I foster dogs, generally puppies looking for a new home. It’s key to teach them how to walk well on a leash so they can be more adoptable. But, teaching pups to enjoy going outdoors, wearing a collar or harness, encountering new and strange sights…. it’s sometimes easier said than done.I’ve learned through experience that a martingale collar is the best way to teach them how to walk nicely. This Deyace collar is easy to adjust, slips on, and applying a correction is very simple and effective. Puppies like to chew, so I’m glad this slips over their heads instead of having to be snapped in place, which they generally see as opportunity to grab and chew. It’s lightweight but seems sturdy. I tried it on my last foster just before he let to his new home and the collar worked well.
