The best thing about this lens is its price. You can get a 35mm prime lens for less than $200. Images at f/2 are good, but they get better at f/4 and work well at f/5.6. As expected, it's compact and great for outdoor shooting. If you like the 35mm focal length and don't want to spend a lot of money, it's worth it.
