I never realized how much these reviews help because I could never find the perfect fit. Hope I can help someone out there. I'm about 5ft 7in, currently 173lbs and ordered a Small. These are not yoga pants, but they are not cut loose. I don't have the biggest feet but I like that they don't hug me or are baggy. I tried them right out of the bag. It's 65% polyester and 35% cotton, so it may shrink a bit. They hug my leg from below. All in all, I'll probably buy more. I'll see how they do in the gym and update later.
