Both held up well for almost a year, even the one bent by a deer. I just bent it back into shape, put it back on my newly renovated car and months later still no corrosion. If you have a car like the Edge where the plaque is on the door, I suggest installing some felt pads on the back down to prevent rattling and paint damage. The bottom of the frame is almost high enough to hide the required plaque. Data (at least in Montana) but if you are careful when tightening the screws you will have no problems.
