What about the license plate holder LOL. This license plate holder is very durable and has a beautiful chrome finish. Ease of installation. It just looks way better than the cheap pool cover giveaways you get from the dealer. It just looks way cooler.

My numbers are a bit curved. I wanted a nice frame, but I didn't want to ride with a dealer ad. I hate that! So I ordered these beautiful chrome trims. They are so easy to apply and frame my license plates so nicely. Featured! Problem solved.

Oh thanks Revain for the 'pre-purchase'. I bought this frame in October 2013 for our pilot. It immediately started discoloring and fading. We could not restore its beautiful shine. It's a shame to have this on our car. So here I am looking for one that lasts and doesn't look crappy! Look at the picture of the stylish classic chrome finish.

This frame is worth the money. It has small ribs on the bottom edge to keep the plate tight to the frame, even a plate that has a congenital deformity like mine. My finish is impeccable; no scratches or damage found. My only issue was with the mounting holes; They were too big to tighten the bolts, so I added a flat washer between the frame and the plastic chrome cap mounts.

You really need to take care of this product. As you can see, the bottom part is about three times thicker than the top. My car looked even worse on my front license plate. (Let's see how it will look from behind). They are designed to add a subtle touch of "class" to your car. Because of this, my car looked like it belonged to a 15-year-old boy who wanted to "pump it up," so to speak. I bought another one with a frame the same thickness and it looks way cooler.

Lots of good reviews but I am very disappointed. The plate is beautiful and looks well made, but it didn't make it through a Michigan winter without badly discoloring and showing terrible wear. We've had a very ordinary winter, so I'd say if you live in a northern climate or are frequently exposed to dust or salt (like Florida or Arizona) I'd avoid this topic. Today I have to buy another record and probably spend a lot more. I think you really do get what you pay for.

Both held up well for almost a year, even the one bent by a deer. I just bent it back into shape, put it back on my newly renovated car and months later still no corrosion. If you have a car like the Edge where the plaque is on the door, I suggest installing some felt pads on the back down to prevent rattling and paint damage. I am so disappointed in this purchase considering the great reviews and ratings. I bought this on 1/12/2017 and have been living in cold wet snow in New England for over a year now. This license plate showed signs of corrosion within the first 4-5 months. Now look at it (see photo). It looked pretty solid and felt well made when I first got it.
