I rarely leave negative reviews as my dissatisfaction rarely results in total non-functioning. This time it's about "buyers beware". This slicer cracked/chewed medium-boiled eggs. First I tried a warm egg and then the one that had been in the fridge for hours. Same, chewed an egg. Tried a cherry tomato: mashed it up before it started tearing the skin; there was a mess. It was so bad I thought the device didn't have serrated blades like it should. No, the edge was serrated. There are a lot of 5 star reviews so the only thing that makes sense is that the slicer I received was defective or the seller received a bad batch from their manufacturer or they may have switched manufacturers. Revain returned the money. without fully giving myself back (Revine's love) and I threw it away.
