Price was good for top shelf quality. It was part of a cockpit overhaul of the huge early 2000s hardtail that had been my only bike for the last fifteen years. Designed for aggressive trail riding and urban swashbuckling, this stem was a great replacement for my old Thompson. Yes I know. It was time to change the carbon bars (25.4) so I wanted to change the stem to 31.8 and I just couldn't afford the new X4 and bars so I compromised and could go with it couldn't be happier with this stem. FUNN does good. I don't foresee this stem ever slipping or breaking.
