Review on Hydroplane Assembly Puzzle Project for Airplanes by Daryl Barton

I purchased the seaplane kit to help my six year old granddaughter prepare for Father's Day based on the rave reviews. The colors and brushes are very good. But that's all! Some mounting holes are missing. Some holes and notches do not match. There was only a slot/hole on the bottom for assembling the "float apparatus" so the bottom of the plane could not be added at all. So he just lies flat. We had to use the included sandpaper and pocket knife to cut a few spots to get the pieces to fit together. I glued a few spots with super glue. I hope it stays together, but not hanging in her father's home office like she wanted. No written instructions of course, just diagrams. Made in China.
