I am a keen gardener and have long been looking for a good way to hang different plants, shrubs and flowers. I've been buying large rolls of wrapping material for years and using it to support a variety of plants. But the twists also cut into the stems of what you place, sometimes even breaking the stems. I was unaware of the existence of this elastic band until I conducted a search in Revane. I've used it on several plants, it's far superior to tie wraps. This plant tie is stretchable, much wider than spiral binder and easier to handle. It can be glued to itself like Velcro. But I live in a very harsh climate region and I didn't really believe that you could survive in this climate just by covering yourself with duct tape. I went ahead and tied the ribbon, I'm more confident that the ties won't get lost once they're tied together. However, the tape seems to stick easily, perhaps those living in milder climates won't have a problem with the tape method. This screed material has another advantage: it stretches as the plant grows, which is another advantage over the Twist system. I am satisfied with this product but only time will tell as to its durability. I will write an update after using this tape for a long time. Until then, this seems like a good and easy way to ensure certain plants stay upright.
