I bought these grip covers for my Vstar1300 with stock handlebars and grips. I had pain in my arms because the standard Yammy grips felt so small in my hands - sort of like a toothpick grip. Anyway, I tried the clutch pup brand on my previous bike and was considering trying the httmt, especially since they're about half the price of the GP. I'll be driving a few hundred miles over the next few days so this will be a good test of her comfort. Installation was easy. You rub the entire inside of the handle covers, as well as the handles themselves, with dishwashing liquid. I made the mistake of only doing the inside of the grip cover first and it definitely wouldn't slide on the grip and was very difficult to get off! Lubricate both and assemble in one go. I cut them to length before installing, just lined them up with the handle and cut the eyeball with scissors to mark the spot, worked great.
