Worth the price

I have them on my 2018 KTM 690 Enduro. It is a single cylinder motorcycle with a displacement of 690cc. See, so you can imagine there's a vibration. Does it help against vibrations? Hardly. They help, but only minimally. So why 4 stars? They absorb shock for better control and a better ride. In a way, it's almost like a steering damper. They are very easy to install, just add a drop of liquid. Apply soap to the inside of the handle and put it on. Given the price, you can't go wrong. look much…

Pros
  • They can be cut to length and easily slipped over existing handles.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good alternative to other brands

I bought these grip covers for my Vstar1300 with stock handlebars and grips. I had pain in my arms because the standard Yammy grips felt so small in my hands - sort of like a toothpick grip. Anyway, I tried the clutch pup brand on my previous bike and was considering trying the httmt, especially since they're about half the price of the GP. I'll be driving a few hundred miles over the next few days so this will be a good test of her comfort. Installation was easy. You rub the entire inside of…

Pros
  • Made from durable, UV-resistant material that will not sag or tear when exposed to the elements.
Cons
  • Clarity

Sit well, use lots of liquid dish soap

I expected very little for the price. However, I am impressed regardless of the price. The thicker handles take a little getting used to, but I've gotten used to it. YMMV if you have small hands or like small bars. The foam dampens vibrations a bit, which I don't want on the VFR, but I'll probably appreciate them if I'm buying a kit for a Buell Thunderbolt (Harley in a Sport Tourer). One of my bikes had heated tires. Handles that slowly turned to a pulp - after almost 10 years of use and…

Pros
  • These grip pads improve rider comfort by significantly reducing vibration while increasing the thickness of standard grips.
Cons
  • Can't remember
