UPDATE: Well, if I'm wrong, I'll admit my mistake. This little can opener is just perfect. It's December 2020 (thank goodness it's almost over!) and the opener is still going strong. I don't know why I had so many problems at first, but now everything works great. I will say use GOOD batteries and make sure the opener goes the full range as it takes time to open. Also press the button to start and also press to open the opener. This is a good buy and I would buy again. ORIGINAL: Runs slowly even with new batteries. When opening the lid, it didn't want to come off. It's a pain in the ass and I hate it. It's still better than a hand crank, but save yourself some frustration and pay a dollar more for a higher quality product. The only plus is the beautiful color.
