Review on VAULTEK VS20I Biometric Handgun Safe With Auto-Open Lid, Bluetooth 2.0 And Rechargeable Battery (Biometric) by Ryo Flora

UPDATE: My initial review was 3 stars, I am now changing to 4 stars due to the customer service support I received. Vaultek customer support ended up sending me a replacement VT20i and provided a return (No cost) label to send the faulted one back. I understand that nothing is perfect with products so the way a companies follow on support is vital to me. Vaultek did a good job in that area.INITIAL COMENTS: I read the reviews and noted several comments concerning problems with the electronics. I thought I would still Vaultek a chance. Figured that based upon the age of the comments that they had resolved the issues, apparently not.Overall the safe is sturdy and physical construction is good.The problem is apparently the electronics. When I first got it I was able to program the master code with no problem. However, about 2 weeks later I can no longer open the safe with the keypad code. I have attempted to reprogram the code. But when depressing the program button for the required 3 seconds (or more) the keypad does not go into program mode. The battery is adequately charged. Attempted the recommendation of Vaultek to remove battery and perform soft reset. accomplished nothingContacted Vaultek customer support (via email - apparently you can't contact a person) and I am now in the back and forth email process of attempting to resolve the issue. They are requesting pictures and videos to 'understand' the problem. We will see where this goes.The bluetooth connection software/functionality is not great. All it is really good for is to tell you the status of the battery. The ability to remotely unlock does not work. Never could get that to function.The finger print function continues to operate properly.
