On a Kenmore 80 series dryer, gas coil failure can be identified by a number of things.1. The tumble dryer runs and heats up first and then cools down but continues its cycle. Clothing may appear damp and cold when inspected after the drying cycle is complete. Your tumble dryer does not reheat during a program and requires a long cool down period before it heats up again.
