Read reviews before buying. I knew this skid plate would only last one season, but it was the best fit for my GSP. I bought a Cuga vest but it just didn't fit me. The Browning Skid Plate fits perfectly thanks to the adjustable Velcro straps. As one reviewer noted, the open Velcro gets clogged with weeds/grass etc and it did, but it has worked great this season and protected my GSP's chest. I hunted for a few days in late 2020 and the skid plate has held up and met my expectations. In the next two seasons I will be buying more than one skid plate again which will still be cheaper than the cuga vest. not worth the money but if not suitable. I can't use it. It would be great if Browning could make a cuff that goes over the exposed velcro to prevent weeds/grass etc from sticking to the velcro.
