I was looking for something with rip-stop fabric that could withstand the kind of tactical abuse that might get dished out. These pants absolutely fit the bill (and fit my body pretty darn well!). In addition, I always worry with hook-and-loop pocket flaps that they'll curl up and look stupid after one wash. These did not. They stayed flat and look awesome. Overall, a great buy for the right price. I'm starting to like these CQR products!
