Problems with installation and automatic shutdown of the dimming function

Not a bad fan. Mounts like other fans EXCEPT the way you attach a blade, the motor is tilted inside the fan housing in such a way that it is very difficult to screw in the other blades without the motor spinning and everything shifting together. I ended up using duck tape to hold the motor in place since I installed it alone. When I first turned on the light with the LED lights that came with the fan, I noticed a bright flash and the light was generally very, very bright. I was able to dim the light using the Hunter universal remote, which I purchased separately purchased, can't get it to work. After some research I found instructions on how to reset the dimming function, which seems to be disabled when the fan is turned on and detects low wattage bulbs (CFL, LED), which is odd since they come with LEDs. In spite of. These steps worked for me: use the "remote control" to turn off the light, then turn it on, and then hold down the fan off button and press the light button twice. The indicator on the remote control flashes three times, which either activates or deactivates the dimming function. Repeat if necessary.
