Purchased to replace our fan in the dining room. Easy installation for my husband. I had to make a few adjustments as the quilt was uneven and frayed, but the finished project is great. SUPER quiet and SUPER bright. And very powerful. The old fan used to run on medium to circulate air, but this baby needs to run on low. Will be buying another one for our bedroom!

We bought this fan to replace a 20 year old model. We are very happy with our purchase! It's very quiet, with almost no sound on the highest setting. We were very happy with the amount of light it puts out. We have a very large room and our previous fan/light left the room a bit dark. No longer a problem - our room is SO bright. I also loved that the blades were reversible so we could choose whichever finish best suited our space/furniture.

1. The screws securing the fan blades were too long. With the blades installed, the engine could not rotate. Shorter screws were required.2. The blades of the knives rubbed against the motor housing and made a grinding noise.3. When finally installed, the headlights worked and the engine just hummed and wouldn't turn. This fan is very good, well built, easy to install and quiet. The problem I found was related to its speed. Only the highest speed produces a noticeable change in airflow, which is adequate for an installation in a relatively small room (mine is 13x10). We chose this fan for our bedroom and we needed something that would flush mount but still be attractive and give plenty of light with the right bulbs. Not a bad fan. Mounts like other fans EXCEPT the way you attach a blade, the motor is tilted inside the fan housing in such a way that it is very difficult to screw in the other blades without the motor spinning and everything shifting together. I ended up using duck tape to hold the motor in place since I installed it alone. When I first turned on the light with the LED lights that came with the fan, I noticed a bright flash and the light was generally very, very bright. I was able to dim the…
