The concept of use of this product depends on what you use it for. Firstly, it states that it is suitable for all types and styles of doors. Depending on the trim, this may not be the case, and almost any other standard door design will have problems. I have an aluminum door with a wooden frame which makes it impossible to mount it on the inside of the frame, it's not designed for that. First, it doesn't suit all types of doors and styles. Second, nowhere in the description does it say you have to remove the existing screen door to use it. This is a design flaw that they don't explain in their description. Having not used any of these before, I figured I could just put them on the door and use the screen door. This will also be a problem for those with heavy storm doors as they cannot be attached without lifting the object off the wall. So not only is this a huge design flaw because they claim it will fit all types and styles of doors, but you also have to remove your existing screen door to use it. A sliding screen door is even more of a problem because you just can't get around it without removing the giant screen door and finding a place to store it with a small plastic door hanger. This might sound silly, but they don't specify that you have to put this on the outside of the door. At first I wanted to place it inside, but I realized that this is not possible because the door will move. Then try to place it outside and you will not get there either because there is a sliding door that must be removed to use this product. Many reviews question whether this works as a pet-proof barrier. No it doesn't and it should be possible if you can get through it. However, this also means that you must remove any existing fly screens as they will not work with this product. The mounting hardware is inferior, the velcro used is a cheap, mass-produced material you can find at the store, and it doesn't hold up. or permanent removal. So the dog had to be removed if need be, but you'll likely scribble it off the wall as the velcro and sticky material are for light use only. This particular velcro is not designed for this application, please use it on . I'm sure many will find it falling off the wall after some time and use. The velcro just isn't strong enough to keep it on the wall. And the adhesive itself is not designed for the weighting and traction when opening and closing the magnetic curtain. It may work initially but there will likely be problems over time unless you attach the sides and top to a wooden frame, the glue will only last a few months at most. And finally the last thing not mentioned in the description. It's a very light polyester that melts. If you carry plates or whatever to the grill or back and forth, you can easily burn and damage this material. It's so thin that it doesn't take a lot of heat to damage the material. The goal is to make it light to work and open at the magnet inlet, this light material also makes it prone to damage and heat issues. What really matters is that the Velcro used and its adhesion does not stay in place when these screen doors are exposed to direct sunlight. A nice hot summer and it will most likely stop being sticky. I had high hopes for this product, it's an amazing price and they offer a very promising experience. However, the material is just too easy and the apps don't live up to their promises. Every time someone says they're going to print something or do something, I doubt it. When I tried to install this in the app we had I noticed it didn't work. In fact, I could imagine many people who would have to remove their screen doors to use these. That means you either have to close the door again or leave it out and hang it outside as needed. It's a good idea the material should be fiberglass or something more durable. . Also why would it increase the price so they should use commercial grade glue and velcro. The step used is not a heavy-duty material for long-term use. Depending on where you live, this polyester material can degrade fairly quickly under UV light. Again something not mentioned. So I can't say it's a must buy. It does not fit all doors as advertised. It has poor Velcro adhesion properties. Flame retardant, so it's supposed to be regular polyester plastic. The instructions do not specify whether to install them outside or inside the doors.
