I liked these because of the composition of the plastic so I don't have to worry about scratching the plastic or maybe the paint. I've seen several videos of audio installers using a screwdriver to remove door panels and clips. I can't understand why a professional would do this and risk scratching the panels or paintwork. I was a little concerned they would break as they are plastic but they are very strong plastic and have held up well throughout my use as I removed the four door panels and trunk panel to install the Dynamat Extreme. I will have to use them again when installing the speakers and I have no doubt they will stand up to the task as well.
