Review on Spectra Premium FN666 Fuel Filler by Malik Axmed

The OEM gas cap will not thread onto the aftermarket Spectra filler neck. You can insert it, twist it until it clicks, but it won't stay tight/locked. I pulled the original tube out of the reservoir and screwed the OEM cap screws onto the old tube as expected. Unfortunately, I wouldn't have known about this until I spent an hour of my time installing it. I mean who the heck is going to try to put the gas cap on before you put it on the car? What should I do now? Order another one from the same manufacturer? There's nothing more frustrating than spending your hard-earned money on an aftermarket part, only to find the manufacturer did a poor job with the fit.
