Spectra Premium FN666 Fuel Filler Review

Used on a 2003 Camry due to constant engine burn due to an evaporator problem. Went like clockwork. The installation, without an elevator, took about 90 minutes. The quality is good, it came quickly.

The part they sent me does not fit the OEM gas cap. The techs at the shop said it looked like they didn't drill it through properly for the gas cap to fit properly. Coverage is always free and the car does not lose emissions. I will consider a refund or replacement.

There were engine codes, in the workshop they noticed rust around the grease smeared fuel cap. I bought this replacement and it fits a 2002 Camry XL perfectly. The rear wheel was removed, the car was on stands, the old pipe could be removed and replaced with a new one in a garage with no heat in VT in the winter of January 2017. The OEM gas cap will not thread onto the aftermarket Spectra filler neck. You can insert it, twist it until it clicks, but it won't stay tight/locked. I pulled the original tube out of the reservoir and screwed the OEM cap screws onto the old tube as expected. Unfortunately, I wouldn't have known about this until I spent an hour of my time installing it. I mean who the heck is going to try to put the gas cap on before you put it on the car?
