There were engine codes, in the workshop they noticed rust around the grease smeared fuel cap. I bought this replacement and it fits a 2002 Camry XL perfectly. The rear wheel was removed, the car was on stands, the old pipe could be removed and replaced with a new one in a garage with no heat in VT in the winter of January 2017. The hardest part was unscrewing the rusty band clamp. Don't be afraid to try it yourself. I don't even fix my brakes so my mechanical skills are limited. You can do this and save a ton.
