Updated 11/28/21. My brewer stopped working. pre-brew. Nada. Tried all recommended troubleshooting tips. I then removed the filter cartridge from the water tank and cleaned around the inlet. I left the filter element complete and it worked again for about two weeks. Dead again and NO ANSWER from manufacturer regarding warranty. This coffee maker does exactly what I wanted it to do. You can make a full pot, an incomplete pot, or different sized cups of coffee, which is nice. Slightly inconvenient (not bad, just worth noting) is that the water tank lid has to go all the way up and down, whereas my previous maker just stayed lifted and connected until you filled the tank. You can also remove the reservoir, but I find it easier to just fill it up with a coffee pot. The lid of the coffee pot must also be removed for filling and not just lifted or pushed to the side. I also believe you get the best spout by removing it entirely, rather than waiting for a slow spout to fill your cup. The thermograph is quite small, just about fills maybe 5 large cups with a full 10 cups of water, which is ok during the day. Day, but the company has to make multiple pots to serve more than a few guests. All in all I'm used to doing those extra steps now and it's a good basic coffee maker for just making a pot or cup of coffee.
