Our new macaw (only 1 week old) has got a lot of new feathers and uses this toy to get rid of itching. I've only chewed a few blocks so far. More interested in his ability to scratch the back of his head. All the different textures seem to give him some relief. Luckily he still doesn't trust us enough to help him clean up. Short strokes only. This toy saves the macaw's mind. I'm sure once he's done with all that itching, he'll gobble it up in no time. But a chewing bird is a happy bird. I would order another one for the next shed in a heartbeat.
