Yes, that's how I got them, kinda messy. It seems the company hasn't thought about how to make sure they don't turn into a mess. They're still usable, just more pieces. Stick some in my nail gun and they went in fine. They shot well too. After I cast the nails, they sit well and evenly, just like all other nails. Work right. They don't look electroplated, but I don't know how to prove it. They do not need to be galvanized in any way. In addition to the container, they are good nails, work well, I recommend.
