My daughter was finally able to use them during the winter storm we just got caught in. Unfortunately the last day I could return them was a few days ago so I'll stick with them. They are NOT waterproof! My daughter went out and scooped up a handful of snow and her hands immediately got wet. The thickness is good and the fit is ok (a bit small but not too bad) but they don't let water through. I would like to return them, but that's the way it is. If you want them to be "waterproof", look elsewhere. That's not it.
