Rust or Paint in the mug

Got the mug today, Looks really awesome! But had rust or paint in the inside of the mug. Scrubbed the inside with hot water and soap, nothing came off. does not feel like stainless steel.

Beautiful product. Well crafted design. I'm a Viking and approve of this drinking cup.
