Bought on the advice of a trainer. I was taught to regulate collar advancement and hold it high on the neck (preventing choking and attracting attention). It delivers. It's also smooth enough to reduce friction. Another point: make sure the leash is on the correct side of the buckle. It should follow the cutout, through the buckle (straight) to your hand. If it changes direction at the buckle, add friction (not good) and you just have to take it off, reverse it, and put it back on. Much luck! It pays to do it right.
