bought because I never have the patience to blow dry my hair. I'm black with super 4c hair and this definitely helps. I'm going to blow dry my hair and lengthen it in about 20 minutes (my hair is also pretty short but thick). Before, I could only blow dry my hair with a brush head that had to be glued on because it kept coming off. I also use it now and then for my 3 year old. She has a thick mix of 4b/4c hair but mostly 4c. The result I get is the same as if I let her hair dry, braided it for 3 days and took it to change her hairstyle. So it definitely saves time when I need to lengthen my hair for a hairstyle right away.
