Our frying pan needed a good cleaning for a LONG time and I got bad advice from a clerk at a hardware store on how to clean it BUT. After a long and hard search I found this product, bought a mop and dish sponges and got to work! Ours was badly baked so it took several hours, nearly a liter of cleaning fluid and LOTS of grease, but it works! We wore rubber gloves and a mask and constantly turned on exhaust fans to ventilate the room. It smokes, and while it's "safer" to use, I can't imagine them being comfortable to breathe, so watch out! The pan is completely restored, freshly seasoned and ready to use! I highly recommend this item! We will keep using it for regular maintenance and I think it will be a lot easier to use next time!
