Center does not completely melt.
Used product to wire thin 24 gauge led wire to a 16 guage lead. The connection was very strong after I let the connector cool. Use a good heat gun and take your time. You will see the metal mix with the wires for a good connection.
- These connectors are convenient to use.
- The product may not be suitable for high voltage applications due to its limited insulation properties
